The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: The next chapter in the Elder Scrolls saga arrives from the makers of the 2006 and 2008 Games of the Year, Bethesda Game Studios.

Skyrim is a role-playing game that reimagines and revolutionizes the open-world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world for players to explore any way they choose. Players can live another life in another world as they play as any type of character they can imagine, as well as do whatever the want while having the freedom of choice, storytelling, and adventure found in The Elder Scrolls series. Skyrim will also utilize a new game engine that will bring to life a world with rolling clouds, rugged mountains, bustling cities, lush fields, and ancient dungeons. In addition to choosing from hundred of weapons, spells, and abilities through the new character system, you will now be given the chance to battle ancient dragons. You can learn their secrets and attempt to harness their power for yourself.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops made its Call of Duty debut as part of the Modern Warfare 2 package and gave players a chance to defend a location against waves of attackers of escalating difficulty. The game mode returns in Modern Warfare 3 and brings with it a new mode in Survival; an army of two experience where you lean on either an AI buddy, for same-console split-screen play, or go online.

Today, we had a chance to get hands-on with the new mode, with our demo located on Dome, a level that will also appear as a multiplayer map. Activision reps confirmed that these levels will not come from the single-player campaign. Beginning initially with only a pistol, you will need to either get used to it or scrounge the weapons of fallen enemies for freebie upgrades. The first group we took on were all fans of the shotgun, but within a few short waves, enemies were packing submachine guns and assault rifles. Afraid of germs from secondhand guns? There’s also the option to spend the money you earn from felled troops on more advanced weapons, items, and special perks…

Super Meat Boy: Super Meat Boy is the digital embodiment of the idea that pleasure can spring from pain, but although death is pervasive in this 2D platformer, it does not define the experience. There is an incredible sense of satisfaction when you clear a particularly nasty level that makes the setbacks you endured to reach that lofty goal well worth it.
